About Us
MUSICA CON SABOR LATINO is a new, hot, salsa-style band of the finest professional musicians from San Luis Obispo County. The band is celebrating its inaugural year performing the infectious sounds of the Afro-Cuban, Latin Jazz music style. With musical precision and passion, this dynamic group brings excitement and energy to the dance floor performing fun and exciting music!
Drawing from the musical libraries of Poncho Sanchez, Scott Martin, Perez Prado, Victor Lopez, The Bronx Connection and the Bronx Horns, MUSICA CON SABOR LATINO has become one of the most requested ensembles on the Central Coast and is an exceptional choice for private parties, weddings, community pops concerts and educational events. Directed by Warren Balfour , retired Director of Jazz Studies at Cuesta College, the band is comprised of the following musicians:
